About You

As the Account Manager for the Kimberly-Clark Professional division - team Benelux, you will be responsible for budgeted sales and new business targets in the Netherlands, in a B2B environment. You will manage a portfolio of assigned channels, retaining and growing associated business in selected segments through best-in-class customer management and in line with the Kimberly-Clark Professional Go-to-Market strategy.

You will report to the Head of Sales Northern Europe and will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).

Location: we can offer a remote model for candidates already based in the Netherlands. Whilst the role is home-based, you will regularly visit local partners.

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the territory portfolio of distributors and end-users and using territory planning to develop annual plans to deliver on sales targets.

  • Executing and monitoring business plan / business performance monthly with distributors and team leader to ensure objectives are met.

  • Maintaining strong customer records within Salesforce (CRM) by following standard work process

  • Driving loyalty and penetration with existing and generating business with new end-users directly or indirectly 

  • Developing and maintaining strong knowledge in Kimberly-Clark Professional processes, products and channels

  • Partnering with internal teams such as Regional Customer Management Team, Channel Management, Regional Marketing

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Previous experience in sales and management of wholesalers, distributors and/or end-users, in a B2B environment

  • Strong negotiation / conflict management skills

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional groups (e.g., finance, operations, marketing)

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills; commercially awareness

  • Able to communicate well with external/internal stakeholders to influence change

  • Demonstrate ability to navigate and perform in ambiguous circumstances

  • Fluent in English and Dutch
