Stores Team Leader

This is a day based role with responsibility to the Mill Purchasing and Logistics functions covering; purchasing, site contracts, spare parts issues, materials movements, Northfleet Terminal and ship discharge, and all site vehicles.

The span of responsibility for the role is across; South Site Engineering Stores, South Site Pulp Yard, Site vehicles, and North Site; Terminal and Pulp Yard, with truck logistics between the two areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing processes, vendor payments, and contract management

• Oversee stock transfers, inventory accuracy, and material handling

• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards in logistics areas

• Manage site vehicles, truck fleet contracts, and optimize transport efficiency

• Foster continuous improvement, applying LEAN principles across accountable areas

• Build strong supplier relationships and ensure adherence to internal controls

• Educated to a degree level or with 3-5 years of experience of people Leadership in a manufacturing environment

• SAP knowledge will be an advantage

• Proactive attitude to Safety

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Good attention to detail

• A high level of personal accountability and tenacity to solve problems

• Knowledge of goods movement processes
