APAC Aurora Finance Lead will be responsible for leading the implementation of AURORA within a finance function and segment in APAC. This role will drive process standardization across the assigned function, manage the function’s business resources involved in the project, and ensure that the ES4 solution meets both operational and strategic objectives of the business  

Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

  • Lead the ES4 implementation efforts for the assigned Finance function  and segment
  • Drive process standardization across the function, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, define, and validate business requirements
  • Manage and coordinate all business resources within the assigned function to ensure their involvement in key project activities such as design, testing, and training
  • Ensure the alignment of the ES4 solution with the function’s operational needs and business objectives
  • Facilitate communication and decision-making within the functional workstream, escalating issues to the Implementation Lead as needed
  • Oversee and contribute to functional testing, data migration, user training, and post-go-live support
  • Act as a key point of contact for resolving functional-specific challenges
  • Work closely with other functional leads to ensure cross-functional integration and coordination
  • Support change management efforts to promote successful adoption of ES4 within the function
  • Report to APAC AURORA Implementation lead

Functional/Business skills 

  • Strong analytical skills and extract meaningful insights from the issues and its impact on business functions
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to drive process improvements and influence decision-making within the function
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing complex issues
  • Ability to balance project demands with the function's day-to-day operations

Qualifications / Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in business transformation or functional leadership roles, preferably within SAP implementations
  • Experience with business information systems (Anaplan, GMR, SAP, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of the assigned finance function
  • Proven ability to standardize and optimize finance processes
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing business resources
  • Expected to be flexible, work independently and exercise sound judgment.
