Principal Accountabilities (Principal Accountabilities)

  • Implementation and application of the proactive safety program and maintaining employee lives as a top priority. 
  • Managing the mechanical maintenance and electrical maintenance teams and developing, planning, and improving maintenance processes in the plant (predictive and preventive). 
  • Leading the engineering field in the plant and serving as an advisor to the plant manager on engineering and maintenance issues.
  • Collaborative work in defining required technologies and production systems Professional advancement of maintenance workers according to technological and engineering developments.
  • Management of engineering projects and interaction with company entities, suppliers and external parties - understanding needs and examining the issue including safety aspects hygiene and environmental impacts, cost and schedule assessment, budget preparation, economic justification preparation, proposal evaluation - equipment and price, partnership in negotiations, equipment reception, installation plan preparation, management of external contractor teams and plant teams and coordination between them until project completion, procurement of spare parts, involvement in maintenance plan preparation, budget control throughout the project. 
  • Ability to understand changing marketing needs and assist in defining the range of products that can be produced with different types of equipment.
  • Managerial responsibility for spare parts procurement and technical warehouse management. Defining technological means with equipment manufacturers.
  • Full involvement and cooperation in CENTERLINING processes. Meeting budget targets while leading maintenance cost efficiency and budget control (management, C.T). 
  • Responsibility for plant infrastructure Responsibility for upgrading and testing machines according to KC standards.
  • Member of the plant management team, leading cross-plant processes on behalf of the management and cooperating with various interfaces.
  • Member of plant problem-solving and cost-saving teams, including providing solutions for safety, quality, production, operations, facility maintenance, and environmental issues. 
  • Working with authorities - fire services, insurance company, municipality, water corporation, electricity supplier, government offices, Israel Land Authority. 
  • Conducting safety refreshers for his employees, including contractors he employs. 
  • Working according to occupational safety and health policies. Working according to environmental quality policies.

Position Requirements (Position Requirements)

  • Education: Mechanical Engineer - at least a bachelor’s degree.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years as a technical manager/maintenance manager (responsible for all maintenance and engineering systems) in an industrial plant with at least 50 employees. (Advantage for a global company)
  • English Proficiency: Very good level - speaking, reading, and writing (required for face-to-face/telephone conversations, correspondence, frequency of language use, etc.). 
  • Computer Skills: Office software, AutoCAD/CAD software.
  • Working Relationships: Internal Interfaces: Plant Manager, Production Managers, Technologist, Diaper Marketing and Development, Technical Procurement, Technical Warehouse, Mechanical Maintenance Manager, Electrical Maintenance Manager, Engineering Office, IFM (Electra), Economist. External Interfaces (domestic and abroad): Suppliers and equipment manufacturers and contractors.
