JOB DESCRIPTION
The role is critical to developing and commercializing new and improved products globally to fuel global Tissue business growth. The incumbent will be a key leader in exploring, chartering, planning and executing projects to deliver new and improved products with regional cross functional teams. This position requires an individual with a passion for global work, building meaningful relationships, effective product developer experience and strong collaboration.
Responsibilities include:
• Partnering with global and regional business cross-functional teams
• Leading from ideas form consumer insights to rapid prototyping & testing to commercialization.
• Leading complex projects to deliver new and improved tissue products
• Integrating basesheet, formulation, converting and packaging technologies to deliver differentiated product experiences.
•Be the expert for your product area on the ideal product for consumers and customers and your products performance versus competition
•Be a key player in driving forward our ambitious sustainability agenda
Influencing & partnering with multi-functional teams to develop & deliver programs/projects that are consistent with our strategies and leverage our competitive & consumer understanding to deliver against local, business unit needs
The incumbent must be able to:
• Work effectively global cross functional and technology teams.
• Plan and carry out project responsibilities with limited assistance and direction
• Communicate and document project plans and results to key stakeholders
• Develop robust timelines, budgets, and resource forecasts
Basic qualifications
• A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a related major scientific field or engineering discipline from an accredited college or university with experience in a variety of technical assignments.
• Experience in global product development.
• Ability to build and foster global relationships.
• Extensive project management experience - preferably with global projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within required time frames.
• Strong product design/development experience and proven ability to translate consumer needs/wishes into product proposals/ideas, and then developing & qualifying products from technical & consumer point of view
• Strong Technical Curiosity: be an idea generator and a consumer & brand champion with good technical know how
• Strong verbal/written communication & influencing skills
Preferred (not essential, but desired):
Good technical mastery across multiple technologies that are relevant for IFP dry tissue and formulated products
Has experience working with external contract manufacturers
