About the Opportunity:

We are hiring for a Research & Engineering (R&E) Technician to join our Product Development team based in our North Sydney head office. The position will give broad exposure as the role works closely with our International Personal Care Manufacturing Mills located in various countries globally, and our brand marketing teams in a highly collaborative manner.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Reporting to the ANZ BCC R&E Leader, you will conduct and coordinate laboratory test work to support product & materials development, quality improvements and competitor assessments. You will manage small scale material qualification programs with overseas mills, ensuring materials are suitable for end use application. The R&E Technician supports our product development and quality teams, evaluating and investigating returned samples cases, and will support the broader marketing team with consumer use testing and product demonstrations. The position also plays a part in identifying business process improvement to enhance effectiveness

About You:

A Degree holder in Science, Materials or Engineering, you will have related experience from a testing, laboratory, or materials role  gained from an FMCG, manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.

With highly developed stakeholder management skills, you can also display intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Experience working with SAP is also highly regarded.
